Why can’t I select links in the navigation menu - "Home"

You must hover your mouse over the menu titles in the burgundy strip at the top of screens.

It is a feature, not a bug.  Because Base Camp is responsive and can be used on a tablet, the navigation buttons at the top of the page are optimized for mobile use. This means that instead of selecting the link in red on the menu bar (Home, Tutorials and Resources, etc.), you must hover your mouse over the red button until the drop down menu appears and select from the drop down menu.

It was very frustrating for me the first few times I was in base camp.  I kept banging my mouse on the menu for Tutorials and Resources, etc and nothing happened.  I know better now, and I still click those menu titles sometimes.

Be aware and accept it.  It allows the menus to behave on a tablet.  I do use Base Camp on a tablet now and then.  Works well.
